ABOUT THE PROJECT

Amazon Payments asked me to design an invitation to be used for a trade show event promoting a new online payment service. Invitations would be handed out to VIPs attending the show. The artwork would also be used for an email and landing page about the event.

THE SOLUTION

The challenge was that the design needed to reflect the amazon brand, but also be elevated to appeal to the VIP attendees and executives attending the show. For this reason I chose simple colors and typography. I stylized the team logos playing at the event to look like they were burned into wood similar to an old baseball bat. The design was then reused for the remaining print and digital collateral.
